NOLA Saints Bold Prediction No. 3: Pass rush has 4+ sacks

New Orleans’ pass rush is no longer an issue. The unit got off to a slow start but has come alive in recent weeks, thanks to the return of Marcus Davenport and David Onyemata and the emergence of Cameron Jordan.

After a slow start to the season, Jordan was on fire in the shutout win over Tampa. He had two sacks on Tom Brady, giving him over 100 in his career. That’s a hell of an accomplishment and Jordan now has six on the season.

The slow start was concerning but Jordan appears to be back to his usual self after that two-sack performance. The Dolphins’ offensive line is a mess and this should be a game where the Saints’ pass rush comes alive, as we saw last week in Tampa Bay.

Of course, this is all assuming that the defense doesn’t lose any of their starters to the COVID-19 list. If Jordan, Davenport, and Onyemata are all healthy and ready to play, there’s no reason this group can’t sack Tagovailoa at least four times.
