2. Alvin Kamara

Had he not missed four games due to injury, Alvin Kamara would have been a lock to make the Pro Bowl. This is year five for Kamara as an NFL running back and he’s made it to the Pro Bowl every year to this point and for good reason.

Kamara just passed the 1,000 scrimmage yards mark in the 9-0 win over Tampa Bay, but his numbers won’t end up anywhere close to where they were a season ago due to the missed time. To this point, Kamara has 668 rushing yards and four touchdowns while hauling in 348 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns.

The numbers aren’t eye-popping but even with the missed time, don’t be surprised if Kamara makes it to the Pro Bowl based on reputation alone.

1. Cameron Jordan

While this season started off slow for Cameron Jordan, he’s the most recognized Saint on the defensive side of the ball. The former first-round pick out of California has made the Pro Bowl six times in his career and could make his seventh this year.

Jordan has six sacks on the year and had two of them this past weekend, getting him past 100 sacks in his career. The guy is a Saints legend and if anyone from New Orleans is going to represent the team in the Pro Bowl, it’s Cameron Jordan without a doubt.

While guys like Marcus Davenport, Paulson Adebo, and Pete Werner deserve Pro Bowl consideration, it probably won’t happen due to them not being as big of names. It’s unfair but the Pro Bowl is a popularity contest and that’s why Jordan and Kamara are the likeliest players to represent NOLA in Vegas in February.
