The 2022 Pro Bowl rosters will be announced on Wednesday night and the New Orleans Saints should expect to see a few players make it to Vegas for the exhibition game.

Let’s take a look at the five members of the Saints who are most likely to make the postseason. This isn’t necessarily based on who’s played the best in 2021 since the Pro Bowl is more of a popularity contest more than anything. These five players are ones who casual NFL fans are aware of and could vote into the Pro Bowl.

5. Erik McCoy

Erik McCoy’s importance to this team couldn’t have been made more clear when he missed time due to injury at the beginning of the season. Since his return, McCoy has been terrific at center and is definitely one of the best centers in the league.

Unfortunately, center isn’t a prominent position in the league. It makes sense that Jason Kelce is currently leading NFC centers in Pro Bowl votes and that probably won’t change. Not only is Kelce still an incredibly talented center, but he’s well-known throughout the league.

Two centers from each conference get in so McCoy has a shot at the other spot but he probably isn’t passing Kelce on the ballot.
