2. Dennis Allen

Sean Payton had to miss this game due to testing positive for COVID-19 and that meant that Dennis Allen would be taking over head coaching duties. The defensive coordinator has done wonders for that side of the ball in New Orleans and has been a popular interview candidate for head coaching jobs as a result.

Well, with this win, Allen should be getting a job this head coaching cycle. He showed what he can do when he’s in charge and that’s taking it to the defending Super Bowl champions.

1. Cameron Jordan

Without a doubt, the star who shined the brightest this week was Cameron Jordan, who had to miss last week due to a positive COVID-19 test. Jordan hadn’t missed a single game in his decade-long career so him missing that game really sucked.

The good news is, however, that Jordan apparently reverted back to 2019 Jordan during his week off because he was an absolute monster in this game. Jordan finished the game with five tackles, three QB hits, and two sacks and got over the 100-career sack mark. The dude’s a Saints legend and he proved why once again on Sunday night.

That was a fun win and the Saints have now swept the Buccaneers in each of the last two regular seasons. The Bucs are the better team and they’ll be going further in the playoffs this season but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t going to be petty and enjoy the hell out of this win.
