2. Philadelphia Eagles

The final two teams on this list both have the head-to-head tiebreaker over New Orleans and we’ll discuss the Philadelphia Eagles first.

These two teams squared off in week 11 with the Eagles winning in blowout fashion, though the score would indicate otherwise. Philly was torching the Saints throughout most of that game but the black and gold stormed back to make a game of it late. It still resulted in a loss, however, and now if the final seed comes down to the Eagles and Saints, Philadelphia would get the spot due to owning the head-to-head tiebreaker.

While it’s probably too late for Philly to win their division, they’re still teetering on the edge of making it into the postseason as a Wild Card team. The only team ahead of Philadelphia in the “in the hunt” category is Minnesota who own the better conference record.

The Eagles could have a quarterback conundrum down the stretch as Gardner Minshew stepped in for an injured Jalen Hurts in week 13 and played well. The team had a late BYE week so it’ll be interesting what kind of team we see in the final four weeks of the season.
