The NOLA Saints hit the road for a date with the New York Jets. Let’s take a look at three of the best prop bets for this matchup.

NOLA Saints Prop Bets

1. Alvin Kamara Rushing Yards (68.5)

New Orleans couldn’t be happier to have Alvin Kamara back in the picture, as their offense struggled immensely without him. Be that as it may, I’m not sure Kamara gets past the 68.5 rushing yard mark.

The main reason for that is Taysom Hill also likes to run with the football and he’ll eat into Kamara’s carries. Kamara didn’t pass the 68.5 mark in the last three games he played in, which is another reason to take the under on Kamara rushing yards.

Prediction: Under (-115)

2. Taysom Hill Passing Touchdowns (1.5)

The last time we saw the Saints in action, Taysom Hill ended the night with two passing touchdowns. Sure, one came in the final minutes when the game was already decided but garbage time touchdowns count when it comes to betting.

The Jets defense was torched last week by Gardner Minshew and while Hill might not be as good of a passer as Minshew, he should be able to get into the end zone through the air multiple times. I typically wouldn’t bet the over on Hill touchdown passes but this week feels as good as any to “risk” it.

Prediction: Over (+165)

3. Taysom Hill First TD Scorer + Saints to Win (+950)

As of this morning, New Orleans is favored by 5.5 points over the Jets. If they were the home team, they’d be favored by over a touchdown.

If the Saints start this game hot on offense, look for Hill to be the one doing a lot of the damage whether it’s through the air or on the ground. If he gets the offense going on the first drive or an early drive and manages to bulldoze his way into the end zone for the first score of the day, no one would be surprised.

Putting money down on this particular bet comes down to how confident you are in the Saints to win. They’re favored for the first time in weeks and while the Jets aren’t a good team, anything can happen.

Still, Hill scoring the first touchdown of the day and New Orleans winning for the first time since Halloween seems too good of a bet to pass up.
