Saints Game Sunday: Saints vs Jets odds and prediction for NFL Week 14 game

The New Orleans Saints are riding a five-game losing streak for the first time in the Sean Payton era and now face one of the worst teams in the league in Week 14. The New York Jets have three wins on their resumé this year and aren’t going anywhere this season.

While the Saints aren’t in a much better situation, they still have a shot (albeit a small one) at making the playoffs due to how lopsided the NFC is. That’s why every win matters at this point, as New Orleans could theoretically still make a run at the playoffs.

If NOLA can’t get past the Jets, however, then it’s going to be hard for them to win many other games this year.

As I said above, if New Orleans can’t win this game, they probably won’t be winning many other games this season. The Jets are laughably bad and while the Saints haven’t exactly been fun to watch, there’s reason to believe that their defense can limit Zach Wilson and that Taysom Hill and the offense can put up enough points to win this one.

With that in mind, I’ll go with a 20-14 New Orleans victory. This might be an ugly win for the Saints but at this point, fans won’t complain if the team is at least getting a W, especially with the playoffs still there for  the taking.
