3 positive stats from NOLA Saints’ frustrating Week 13 loss to Cowboys
By Kristen Wong
1. Taysom Hill Rushing Yards
In his first start of the season, Taysom Hill went 19-of-41 for 264 passing yards and two touchdowns against four interceptions.
His more impressive stat line, however, was his rushing yardage.
Hill had 11 carries for 101 rushing yards, averaging 9.2 yards per carry.
He also did this incredible hurdling run:
Hill has waited all season for this quarterback opportunity, but due to his own deficiencies along with external factors, he squandered his chance.
He had some of his best plays as seen in his athletic leopard leap, but he also had his some of his worst as seen in his whopping four picks. One of those interceptions may not have been his fault, but the other three were, especially his last pick that resulted in a Cowboys’ pick-six that iced the game.
Unfortunately, Saints fans may have to suffer through Hill’s T-rex arm for the rest of the season, but Hill had his dazzling moments.
Enjoy them while they last.
