For the second straight week, we’ll see the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football. This time, they’ll host the Dallas Cowboys in an important game for both teams.

NOLA is riding a four-game losing streak after sitting at 5-2 and in a great spot as far as making the playoffs was concerned. Now, however, they’re 5-6 and on the outside looking in at the NFC playoff picture. Thursday’s loss to the Bills felt like rock bottom for this team.

Speaking of Thursday losses, Dallas fell to the Raiders in overtime on Thanksgiving afternoon and now sits at 7-4. They’re still first in the NFC East and they’ll win that division barring an epic collapse, so this game is less important for the ‘Boys because they’re in control there.

Saints Injury Report vs Cowboys Week 13

The following players have been ruled OUT for tonight’s game:

OT Terron Armstead

DE Marcus Davenport

LB Kaden Elliss

RB Alvin Kamara

DE Tanoh Kpassagnon

OT Ryan Ramczyk

Taysom Hill Injury Update

New Orleans had a competition at quarterback over the offseason and Jameis Winston emerged victoriously. Unfortunately, he was injured in Week 8 and Taysom Hill was unable to take over as the starter due to a concussion he sustained in Week 5.

With Hill unavailable, Trevor Siemian stepped in as the starter. At first, he played well but it’s been tough sledding for the backup ever since. Hill’s been taking first-team reps this week and will be the starter. Hopefully, he can give this offense the spark it so desperately needs.

Saints vs Cowboys Odds, Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick Week 13

WynnBET has New Orleans as 6.0-point home underdogs to the Cowboys with a money line of +210 while Dallas’ money line is -275. The over/under is set at 46.5 points.

New Orleans has their fair share of injuries but Dallas has coaches on the COVID list who won’t be able to coach the ‘Boys on Thursday, with the biggest one obviously being their head coach, Mike McCarthy. That shouldn’t be enough to slow down the Cowboys who will be looking to get back on track this week. I didn’t even mention the Saints’ injuries, which is yet another reason to pick against NOLA.

I’m going with a 30-17 Dallas victory.
