Saints Roster: 4 players you might have forgotten about this season
1. Ken Crawley
Remember Ken Crawley? The former undrafted product out of Colorado has spent nearly the entirety of his NFL career with the Saints with four regular-season games in Miami being the outlier (he spent a brief amount of time with the Raiders and Cardinals as well but never saw action during the regular-season).
Crawley has never been the most popular Saint due to his not-so-great coverage skills but no matter what happened, New Orleans couldn’t seem to quit him. He landed on IR prior to the 2021 season and it was a blow to the secondary considering all of the other injuries they had at the position.
Well, Crawley was waived roughly 10 days ago, went unclaimed, and guess what? The Saints re-signed him yet again!
The cornerback has appeared in just three games for NOLA this year and hasn’t played more than 2% of the defensive snaps during that time. He’s spent more time on special teams but never more than 18% in that department.
It’d be understandable if you forgot about Crawley because to be perfectly honest, I sort of did too.
