1. Russell Wilson

Last offseason, Russell Wilson caused a stir when he expressed frustration about his offensive line in Seattle. From there, trade rumors began to swirl and at one time, Wilson listed the Saints as one of the teams he’d be okay being traded to.

The Saints have a good o-line (well, for the most part) and Alvin Kamara at running back, which any quarterback would be interested in. The problem, however, is the lack of weapons and that’s something New Orleans would surely fixate on if Wilson actually came to the Big Easy.

The issue, however, is that Wilson wouldn’t come cheap. When the Bears were interested in trading for him last offseason, reportedly multiple first-round picks were on the table. New Orleans needs their draft picks but they could still find decent receivers in the early rounds of the draft, which is their biggest need.

Wilson leaving Seattle is probably a longshot but him landing in New Orleans is an even bigger longshot. Still, it’s hard not to think of how good this team could be with Wilson under center.

These quarterbacks probably won’t be coming to the Big Easy but any of them would make the New Orleans Saints a Super Bowl contender in 2022.
