2. Aaron Rodgers

Last summer, there was buzz from a former teammate that Aaron Rodgers would play for the New Orleans Saints in 2022. Fast forward to present day and would the Saints actually want Rodgers?

Sure, the Packers quarterback is great but he comes with a slew of problems. Most recently, his drama has included lying to everyone about being vaccinated, causing him to miss a key matchup against the Chiefs after he tested positive for COVID-19. Rodgers hasn’t exactly been popular after that situation and for good reason.

Rodgers isn’t known as a great locker room guy either, speaking up and being loud when things aren’t going great for him. The Saints have been a team with a great locker room over the years and I’d hate to see that go down the drain.

With all of that said, however, Rodgers will likely hit free agency this offseason as the Packers move onto the Jordan Love era. It feels like Rodgers is destined to go to Denver at this point but nothing is certain, especially in the NFL world.

If Rodgers is interested in coming to New Orleans, they’d have to add receivers and find a way to pay the guy. This one might be the biggest longshot on the list but there’s no doubt that if Rodgers came to the Saints that they’d be a Super Bowl contender just with his presence alone.
