The New Orleans Saints got smoked by the Philadelphia Eagles and are now .500 after looking like a fringe Super Bowl contender not even a month ago. Who were the winners and losers from this blowout loss?

Well, that was ugly. After dropping to 5-4 and needing to beat the Eagles on the road, the Saints did the opposite, getting embarrassed by a four-win football team and looking pitiful in nearly every facet of the game.

At this point, the Saints aren’t a playoff team and we saw that play out in front of our eyes on Sunday. Their defense isn’t the same unit we saw dominate Tom Brady and company on Halloween. It was constantly confused by Jalen Hurts and the Eagles and looked lost throughout the game.

The offense — Well, the offense has been bad for awhile. This isn’t a new discovery for any of us. That’s what happens when you go into a season with Marquez Callaway as your expected WR1 though.

New Orleans only has themselves to blame for that problem and it’s something they HAVE to fix this offseason. Michael Thomas, especially with his slew of injuries, won’t be enough for this team to put up points next year and beyond.

With all of that said, let’s dive into the winners and losers from the blowout loss in Philly.
