Sticking in the wide receiver category, the Saints HAVE to sign one this offseason and Keelan Cole might be one of the best bargain options for them to sign. Cole went undrafted in 2017 but made a splash with Jacksonville during his four years there.

Cole signed a one-year deal with the Jets this offseason and has looked pretty good through seven games and five starts. He has 16 receptions for 257 yards and while he’s yet to find the end zone, the guy has made some pretty gnarly catches while in a Jets uniform.

Cole was a bargain signing for the Jets, as they landed the former Kentucky Wesleyan product for just $5.5 million but he’ll probably be a little more expensive than that entering the 2022 offseason.

New Orleans can’t wait until the seventh round to draft a wide receiver in next year’s draft and even with the opportunity to add multiple receivers next year, Cole would make the offense better. He’d be an important weapon for the Saints and hopefully, his value doesn’t skyrocket too much, and getting him to the Big Easy isn’t an impossible task.
