New Orleans Saints Best Prop Bets

1. Alvin Kamara Rushing Yards (77.5)

I get why Vegas went this route with Alvin Kamara. The Saints lost Jameis Winston for the season due to a torn ACL that he suffered in last week’s win, so naturally, with Trevor Siemian stepping in, people expect the Saints to run the ball over and over again.

The Saints have already been doing this and even then, Kamara isn’t hitting the over/under set for him. It’s not that he’s a bad running back — far from it — but rather that his biggest strength is what he can do as a pass-catcher. THAT’S what the Saints lean on Kamara heavily for.

While Kamara will get his fair share of carries — and deservedly so — I’m not sure he comes close to surpassing the 77.5 yard mark. He’ll get the short passes thrown to him by Siemian and he and Mark Ingram will split the carries, bringing down his potential for a huge rushing day.

Kamara is going to be the belle of the ball on Sunday but I don’t feel comfortable going with the over on his rushing yards.

Prediction: 59 rushing yards — Under (-115)
