1. John Brown

John Brown is somehow still available in free agency. He started the season with the Raiders but asked to be released and his wish was granted. A few weeks ago, he was scooped up by the Broncos and was on their practice squad before, once again, getting released.

I’m not sure why the Saints didn’t sign Brown the first time he was available and now they have a second chance to go and get him. He appeared in the Broncos’ Week 6 and 7 games, appearing in just 7% of the snaps in Week 6 and 12% of the snaps in Week 7.

In New Orleans, Brown could easily be WR1. He’s two years removed from going for over 1,000 yards in Buffalo and while injuries held him out of 2020, he’s still better than what the Saints currently have on offense.

Brown is easily the best wide receiver available as of now and the New Orleans Saints shouldn’t hesitate to bring him in. Maybe he doesn’t suit up for the Falcons game but having him for the two road games in Tennessee and Philadelphia would be huge.

This feels like a no-brainer but maybe the Saints truly are confident in what they have at the position and don’t plan to make any more moves despite the news surrounding Thomas.
