3. Marqise Lee

Marqise Lee hasn’t played since the 2019 season yet he’s still one of the better options available in free agency. The former USC Trojan went in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft to the Jaguars where he put up his best numbers in 2016 (63 receptions for 851 yards and three touchdowns) through 16 games and six starts.

Lee’s problem hasn’t been talent. We all know he’s a very good player. His issue has stemmed from injuries, as that 2016 season is the only time he appeared in all 16 games in a season.

If Lee is healthy enough to give it a go, the Saints shouldn’t hesitate to bring him in and add him to this offense. There’s no way that a healthy Marqise Lee isn’t a better option than Kevin White.

Lee never lived up to his second-round stock but if the Saints did bring him in, he’d have a chance to redirect his NFL career after not playing in 2020. It’s not an exciting option by any means, but it’s at least somewhat of a boost to the receiving corps.
