The Saints have had a very up and down season while the Bucs have mostly been on cruise control. They’ve lost just one game and look as dominant as ever, making this a really tough matchup for the home team Saints.
Saints Injury Report vs Buccaneers Week 8
The following players have been ruled out for today’s game:
Quarterback Taysom Hill
Defensive End Payton Turner
Running Back Dwayne Washington
The following players are questionable for today’s game:
Wide Receiver Deonte Harris
Deonte Harris Injury Update
Deonte Harris exited Week 5 with a hamstring injury and despite the BYE in Week 6, was still unable to give it a go this past week in Seattle. He’s been a limited participant in practice this week and the Saints receiving corp could really use him. Last week wasn’t a good game for the receivers and they won’t be able to float by against a legitimate team like Tampa Bay.
Saints vs Buccaneers Odds, Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick Week 8
WynnBET has the Saints as 4-point home underdogs to the Buccaneers with a moneyline grab of +165. Tampa’s moneyline is -200. The over/under is set at 48.0 points.
While NOLA’s defense looks to be the real deal, so is Tampa’s offense. Their secondary might be shaky but with how lackluster New Orleans’ receivers have looked so far this season, it’s hard to imagine the Saints running up the scoreboard. Tampa is going to keep Alvin Kamara in check so if someone else doesn’t step up, this game could get out of hand.
Let’s go with a 24-17 Buccaneers victory.
