4. Tim Patrick

Tim Patrick has been a fun story for the Denver Broncos. The former Utah Ute didn’t hear his name called in the 2018 NFL Draft but he didn’t let that hold him back, making the most of his opportunities in Denver.

Patrick went from a near-nobody to being one of the best weapons in Denver and he’s nearing the end of his rookie contract. With the AFC West looking as competitive as it has in quite some time and the Broncos looking like the worst team in that division (though the Chiefs have looked bad, that’s not debatable), trading Patrick and getting some picks back in exchange could be a smart move for Denver.

Last year was Patrick’s best pro season, as he hauled in 51 receptions for 742 yards and six touchdowns through 15 starts. This season he’s up to 27 catches for 360 yards and three touchdowns.

The Saints would gladly take that kind of production and Patrick would pair nicely with Michael Thomas. He’d give Jameis Winston a reliable threat downfield and that’s exactly what NOLA needs moving forward.
