The New Orleans Saints get to take their first crack at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend and it’s fitting that this game falls on Halloween. The Caesars Superdome will be rocking as the black and gold welcome in the defending Super Bowl champions, who are off to a roaring start this year.

Saints vs Buccaneers Odds Week 8

WynnBET has New Orleans as 5.0-point home underdogs to the Buccaneers, which shouldn’t come as a surprise. Tampa has destroyed pretty much every team they’ve faced this year (minus the Rams, who handed them their only loss of the season to this point) while NOLA has been very up and down.

The Saints have a moneyline grab of +190 while Tampa’s sits at -225. The over/under is set at 50.0 points.

Saints vs Buccaneers Prediction Week 8

New Orleans had no problem stopping the explosive Buccaneers offense in two regular-season meetings last year and the offense was easily able to score on what was supposed to be a solid defense. If not for a few mistakes in the Divisional Round, New Orleans could have swept the entire season against their division rivals.

This time around, however, the Saints look a whole lot different. Former Buc Jameis Winston is now quarterbacking the black and gold and he’ll be out for revenge against his old team. Will that be enough to help propel the Saints to victory in this one?

I’m going to say the Buccaneers win this game, but NOLA will cover. Tampa Bay wins, 27-24.
