6. Paulson Adebo
A few weeks ago, Who Dat Dish’s Jonny Camer was calling for Paulson Adebo to be benched, and in Jonny’s defense, it was well-warranted. Adebo looked like a rookie out there and was torched by Daniel Jones and Kenny Golladay/Kadarius Toney throughout the Week 4 loss to the Giants. Not a good look.
After Week 5, however, Adebo’s praises are being sung once again. The third-round rookie out of Stanford had a nice game against Washington, picking off Taylor Heinicke in the end zone and making sure the Football Team didn’t add another score to take what would have likely been a 20-13 lead in the second quarter.
Adebo might have his fair share of ups and downs but that’s okay. He is a rookie after all.
The Stanford rookie hasn’t been perfect but he’s nabbed two interceptions through five games and is still keeping trade acquisition, Bradley Roby, off the field with his promising play. That’s why it’s more than fair to say that Adebo’s stock has soared ahead of the Week 6 BYE.
