NOLA Saints Losers

Saints Defense

That was an ugly performance from the NOLA defense and that’s not something we expected to be the case with their strong start.

Daniel Jones threw for 402 yards, two touchdowns, and a pick (which came on a Hail Mary to end the first half) while rushing for 27 yards. He was hitting his receivers and had plenty of time to do so and to be honest, I’m not sure why Jones gets as much hate as he does if he was able to make the NOLA defense look like they were on rollerskates all afternoon long.

Adam Trautman

While he recorded his first catch since Week 1, it was for three yards. It did go for a first down but that was where the positivity stopped for Trautman. The third-round pick from a season ago had a critical holding call on what would have been a touchdown to Kenny Stills. One play later, Hill threw that disastrous interception.

To make matters worse for Trautman, Juwan Johnson continued to build chemistry with Jameis Winston, grabbing his third touchdown reception of the season.

It was a bad day for Trautman and being a good blocker isn’t going to be enough for him moving forward.
