The New Orleans Saints head to Foxborough for a date with the New England Patriots on Sunday. Both teams are 1-1 and had opposite results in their first two games, with the Saints winning Week 1 and the Patriots losing and then vice versa in Week 2.

With the Buccaneers and Panthers taking a one-game lead in the division (and Carolina holds a tiebreaker over NOLA), this game is a big one for the black and gold. It’s not a must-win by any means but it’s an important game for this group.

Let’s dive into some prop bets for this weekend’s game. All odds come courtesy of WynnBET.

Best New Orleans Saints prop bets for Week 3

1. Jameis Winston – Passing Yards (216.5)

Jameis Winston took over for the Saints at quarterback this season and while his first performance saw him throw for five touchdowns, he threw for less than 150 yards. This past week — Well, we all saw what happened there and it wasn’t pretty.

The over/under line for Winston’s passing yards is set at 216.5 but considering Winston has yet to throw for 200 yards in his two games, this feels like a safe bet to go with the under.

Pick: Under (-115)

2. Marquez Callaway – Longest Reception (18.5)

One of the biggest disappointments on the offensive side of the ball for NOLA has been Marquez Callaway. The former UDFA out of Tennessee has had just 20 yards receiving through his first two games of the 2021 season.

The over/under line for the Saints’ longest reception is Callaway with 18.5, which feels like a pipedream at this point. Maybe Callaway gets more involved this week but his longest reception to this point has been for just 14 yards.

Pick: Under (-116)

3. Alvin Kamara – Rushing Attempts (15.5)

Considering how much New Orleans has leaned on Alvin Kamara since drafting him in 2017, this feels like too few carries for the third-round running back. The Patriots surrendered over 150 yards on the ground last week to the Jets so don’t be surprised to see New Orleans pound the rock time and time again on Sunday and they’ll need Kamara to do just that.

Pick: Over (-125)
