Bold Prediction No. 2: Defense forces 4+ turnovers

Mac Jones is still relatively unknown at this point but one thing he’s been good at through two games is holding onto the football. He’s yet to throw an interception or lose a fumble, which is respectable for a rookie quarterback early into his career.

Well, enjoy it while you can, Jones because that streak will end this weekend and it’ll end in a big way. We saw NOLA’s defense put the pressure on Aaron Rodgers and force him into two ill-advised interceptions and Rodgers is notorious for taking care of the pigskin.

Payton Turner had a big debut for his team and is going to come after Jones all day long. He’ll force at least one fumble while Zack Baun will pounce on it and make fans forget how much he’s been struggling so far.

As for the interceptions that will take place, Paulson Adebo is going to rebound after a “Welcome to the NFL” kind of game last week. Malcolm Jenkins also will find himself getting in the action this time around and pick off Jones for the first time in his career.

This Saints defense was embarrassed by Carolina’s offense (and we’ve now seen that the Panthers are no slouch) and they’re going to rebound in a big way when taking on the Pats.
