As the New Orleans Saints look to bounce back in their third game of the season, they’ll have to do so against a Patriots team who is still trying to figure out their identity (much like the Saints are).

This game won’t be a cakewalk by any means and the Saints need to play nearly perfect to come out of Gillette Stadium with a victory. Let’s check out three bold predictions entering this Week 3 matchup.

Bold Prediction No. 3: Alvin Kamara has 175+ yards from scrimmage

Last week wasn’t kind to Alvin Kamara, but if we’re being entirely honest, last week wasn’t kind to anyone. Kamara rushed for just five yards off of eight carries and caught four passes for 25 yards in one of his worst performances in recent memory.

This week will be a different story, however, as Kamara is going to get back to being the player we all know and love. He didn’t get many carries last week due to NOLA getting down early but that won’t be the case in Week 3.

The Patriots surrendered 152 yards on the ground last week and that’s with unknowns like Michael Carter doing a majority of the work. Kamara is going to eat that run defense alive and hopefully, he’ll be open for Jameis Winston to connect with on some short passes as well.

Look for Kamara to return to form against a Patriots run D that hasn’t looked so hot to open the year.
