The New Orleans Saints are 1-0 and hoping to move to 2-0 when they face the Carolina Panthers this weekend in Charlotte and the Panthers are also 1-0 after beating the Jets.

While the Saints’ path to 1-0 was much more impressive, a win is a win. The Panthers took care of business against a team that they needed to. On paper, New Orleans is the better team this weekend and they’re the favored team despite playing on the road. But, as we know, the better team doesn’t always win.

Here are some bold predictions for the Saints’ Week 2 game against Carolina that will hopefully put them over the top and get them to a 2-0 start. For what it’s worth, I did pretty well with my bold predictions last week and some of them were pretty damn bold. How will I do this week?

5. Paulson Adebo adds another interception

The only New Orleans rookie to play during the 38-3 blowout win over the Packers was Stanford cornerback Paulson Adebo, who got the start alongside Marshon Lattimore. Not only did Adebo hold his own in his NFL debut but his first career interception was off of reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers. What a resumé booster, right?

Not only will Adebo kick butt and take names this week against Carolina but he’s going to get his second career interception in his second NFL game. Obviously, doing so against Sam Darnold isn’t as impressive as picking off Rodgers but a pick’s a pick, right?
