1. Jameis Winston

No one should have a bigger chip on their shoulder on this team than starting quarterback Jameis Winston.

A former number one overall pick in 2015, Winston spent five seasons with the Buccaneers before they made the decision to move on from him. Winston wasn’t a bad quarterback by any means but  he turned the ball over way too much and that’s what ultimately led to his dismissal from the team.

Now, Winston has a chance to hit the reset button and that’s exactly what he needs to do in Week 1 against Green Bay. He can’t be thinking about what went wrong in Tampa Bay. His focus needs to be on what he can do to prove he’s a capable starting quarterback in the NFL and what could prove that further than going toe-to-toe with Aaron Rodgers and putting up massive numbers this week?

No one really expects the Saints to win this game but Winston putting on the performance of a lifetime and leading his team to victory (or at least a close game) could pay dividends for his career.
