New Orleans Saints to watch – No. 2: Marquez Callaway

Speaking for most NFL fans, the world is excited to see the preseason standout Marquez Callaway in action. He will be given a very tough as the clear-cut wide receiver one of the team.

Green Bay’s Jaire Alexander, one of the best corners in football, will not give Callaway an easy time. The rest of the Packer defense is also very strong, including Zadarius Smith, Adrian Amos, Kenny Clark, and many others.

Callaway, who was carving defenses up in the preseason, will keep that same energy against this Packer defense. It will most likely be the most challenging task of Callaway’s young career. How he responds to this challenge will be very interesting to see. He must play well as this is Jameis Winston’s first start of the season.

Callaway is going to need a steady and reliable target to look to. If Callaway can’t establish himself, the whole passing offense could look somewhat dysfunctional. While it shouldn’t be a freak-out moment if he struggles, the Saints most likely won’t win the game if Callaway doesn’t perform well.
