New Orleans Saints: Game-by-game predictions for 2021 season
After two straight road games, the Saints return home for a pair of Thursday night games, with the first taking place on Thanksgiving against the Bills. This will be a doozy of a game, as the Bills proved last year they’re not the same Bills we saw for most of the millennium to this point, making it to the AFC Championship Game and falling short of the Super Bowl.
Buffalo won’t make this easy despite it taking place in Caesars Superdome and while it shouldn’t be a blowout by any means, the Bills have the better quarterback and that typically is what it comes down to.
Prediction: Saints 17, Bills 24
Another Thursday night game is on tap for Week 13, as the Saints remain in New Orleans for a date with the Dallas Cowboys. These Saints/Cowboys games are always fun to watch and it’s gone back and forth between the two in recent years.
Dak Prescott is recovered from an injury he sustained last year and he’s proven to be the quarterback the Cowboys need. That offense is as lethal as they come with Prescott throwing to the likes of Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb while also having Ezekiel Elliott to hand the ball off to.
On the other hand, the Cowboys’ defense has left a lot to be desired recently. This has the makings of a high-scoring game in the Big Easy but the Saints hopefully reign in the victory.
Prediction: Saints 42, Cowboys 38
Record: 7-5
