The Patriots are a weird team to try and predict, especially now that they’ve officially closed the book on former NFC South quarterback Cam Newton. Rookie Mac Jones impressed enough to earn the starting job and this will be the third game of his career so the jury will still be out on if this kid can play or not.

Bill Belichick is one of the best head coaches in the league and this game takes place in Foxboro but the Saints have a talented roster and should be able to leave Gillette Stadium with a W. This will be a close game, however.

Prediction: Saints 26, Patriots 23

The Giants have dealt New Orleans fits in recent years and the team still might not be able to return to the Caesars Superdome for this one depending on how things are going. If that’s the case, the Saints will be exhausted from all of the extended travel they’ll have to do.

Be that as it may, the Giants aren’t a good football team. Daniel Jones hasn’t shown us anything to make us think he’s the answer in the Big Apple and while the defense is decent, the Saints have enough firepower offensively to win this one.

Prediction: Saints 20, Giants 12

Record: 3-1
