2. Bryan Mills

Another cornerback makes this list and that shouldn’t shock anyone considering the state of the cornerbacks in New Orleans. The Saints signed Bryan Mills a few weeks ago and the signing screamed “future practice squad player”, which is exactly what went down.

Mills joined the Saints once the team realized Prince Amukamara wasn’t the same player he once was. The former North Carolina Central didn’t play in last year’s college football season and initially signed with Seattle as an undrafted free agent.

He found himself without a team in August though and that’s when the Saints brought him in. With Mills being someone who’s been with the team for a few weeks now, that puts him ahead of Hollman, who despite having experience, needs to familiarize himself with the defensive scheme before he gets a shot on the active roster.

I won’t be surprised at all to see Mills on the field at some point this season due to how thin the cornerback group is in New Orleans. If he does get a chance to play, hopefully, he ends up being a pleasant surprise.
