Wynton McManis is sticking around

The most devasting cut from Tuesday was definitely linebacker Wynton McManis, who Saints fans grew attached to over the summer. McManis was making key plays right and left during the preseason and with one less preseason game, it sadly wasn’t enough.

The Saints even opted to keep seven linebackers on their roster with McManis being the only cut there. Andrew Dowell was someone who fans also thought might get cut but the Saints liked him enough to keep seven linebackers and only cutting McManis.

Now, however, McManis will stay in town, and maybe there’s a chance we get to see him on the active roster at some point this season.
