Receivers for Saints to target – Travis Fulgham

The Lions spent a sixth-round pick on Travis Fulgham in the 2019 NFL Draft. The Old Dominion product spent one year in the Motor City before moving onto the Eagles in 2020 where he had himself a nice season.

Fulgham totaled 38 receptions for 539 yards and four touchdowns through 13 games and eight starts in Philadelphia. He did this despite the Eagles having a bad Carson Wentz under center for over half the season and then later putting in rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Fulgham would give the Saints a really nice option as the WR3/4 and it’d be fun to picture him and Jameis Winston working together on the offensive side of the ball.

As Mike Garafolo noted, however, the Eagles are hoping that Fulgham makes it through waivers so they can keep him on their practice squad. Fulgham is a talented enough player that other teams are going to put claims in for him. The Saints should be one of those teams.
