The New Orleans Saints‘ preseason has come to an end after just two preseason games, as their final game was canceled due to Hurricane Ida.

During their two games, the Saints saw three offensive players really step up and wow when given the chance. One of these players had been receiving hype this offseason but showed the hype was merited with his performances through two games.

Another player had a shot to make the roster but wasn’t someone that was talked about all that much. He very well could have clinched a roster spot with how dominant he was in two games this preseason though, which is exactly what players like him have to do to ensure they stick with their team.

The other player is someone who might have made the roster but really stepped up and made the most of his opportunities. Due to injuries at his position, it’s made his spot on the roster even more of a lock than we previously thought.

Without further ado, let’s dive into these players one at a time and dissect how they thrived in the preseason and what it means for them moving forward.
