The New Orleans Saints face the Jaguars in their second preseason game, which is taking place on Monday night in the Caesars Superdome. The Saints lost their first preseason game last weekend and that was a result of turning the ball over six times.

This time around, the Saints are at home and hopefully practiced holding onto the football throughout camp this week. While that’ll certainly be something to keep an eye on as the Saints go head-to-head with the Jaguars, these five players are also worth keeping a watchful eye over.

New Orleans Saints to Watch – No. 5: Zack Baun

One of the most impressive players on the defensive side of the ball this summer has been second-year linebacker, Zack Baun. The Saints spent a third-round pick on Baun in last year’s draft and he didn’t live up to his draft status, that’s for sure.

This year, however, the Saints are confident that Baun can transform into the player they expected him to be when they spent a third-round pick on him. So far, he’s showing that he can indeed be that guy.

Baun was explosive in the preseason opener, totaling five tackles, one quarterback hurry, one batted pass, and only allowing two catches for three yards. It was a performance that got Saints fans excited for what Baun could do this year.
