New Orleans Saints – Takeaways from Practice

1. Red Zone Production

Jameis Winston was the winner when it came to red zone production during Thursday’s practice, totaling two touchdowns during that time. He connected with both Lil’Jordan Humphrey and Stevie Scott for scores.

Hill, meanwhile, wasn’t as dominant, but he wasn’t helped with dropped balls. Still, Hill needs to take advantage of any opportunity that comes his way and he hasn’t done that, allowing Winston to still be ahead of him on the depth chart.

Winston’s two touchdowns in the red zone showed that he can get it done when the offense is down there but this was only practice. He’ll have to get his team down to that part of the field first and then make the most of it.
