The New Orleans Saints are going to be without Michael Thomas for a large chunk of the 2021 season. This is a massive blow to a team that was already thin at wide receiver and they only have themselves to blame for the situation they’re currently in.

The Saints had several opportunities to add help to the position this offseason but they didn’t sign a wide receiver in free agency and didn’t add one in the draft until the seventh and final round. They were putting too much stock into Thomas this season and now it’s come back to bite them.

Saints fans have now had plenty of time to look around the league and identify teams with the opposite problem — Teams with a fully-stocked wide receiver room. Of course fans are going to be jealous seeing some teams with their WR3 being a guy capable of going for over 1,000 yards while New Orleans has one of the worst receiver rooms in the entire league.

With a little over a month before the regular season kicks off, the Saints need to give those teams we just talked about a call and see if they’d be interested in swinging some sort of deal for one of their receivers.

Here are six teams New Orleans needs to have on speed dial between now and the start of the season.
