As the New Orleans Saints enter a pivotal season, they’ll be looking for some underrated names to step up and lead the charge.

Three players, in particular, aren’t getting much attention outside of New Orleans but Saints fans know what these guys can do and they expect them to be electric in 2021. These players have the ability to become more well-known around the NFL and people should jump on their bandwagons now before they become bigger names.

We’ll start with a guy who fell flat for the defense last year.

Saints bandwagons to hop on – No. 4: Zack Baun

Bear with me here, Saints fans — I know that Zack Baun disappointed greatly as a rookie. The Saints spent a third-round pick on the Wisconsin linebacker in last year’s draft and year one was a season to forget for Baun.

All of that being said, 2021 is a new year for the Saints linebackers and it’s time to wipe the slate clean. What should help Baun in his second year as an NFL linebacker is the fact that the Saints are planning to use him in more of an edge-rushing role rather than an off-the-ball linebacker.

The addition of rookie Pete Werner in this year’s draft should light a fire under Baun to play better this year but someone has to win the job next to Demario Davis. Baun is someone who could really improve his stock from year one to year two and fans should hop on his bandwagon before it’s too late.
