NOLA Saints: 3 position groups that could be the best in the NFL
The NOLA Saints’ offensive line could be the best in the NFL
There’s no surprise here, as the Saints’ offensive line has been one of the best in the league over the past several years. If there’s an area on the team that you want to be the best (outside of quarterback, that is), it’s the offensive line and the Saints have been able to brag about this.
Terron Armstead and Ryan Ramczyk return as the two starting tackles and while both are entering contract years, that’ll be even more incentive for each guy to play well. At guard, Andrus Peat and Cesar Ruiz will hold down the fort while Erik McCoy continues to be a beast at the center spot.
With how good the o-line is, it makes whoever is playing quarterback feel more comfortable because they know they’ll be getting some of the best protection in the league. It also helps Kamara get so many chunk plays that he’s known so much for.
Having one of the best offensive lines in the league has its perks and the Saints could absolutely see their unit end the season as the best in the NFL.
