Potential Spots for NOLA Saints WR Michael Thomas – No. 1: Dolphins

The Dolphins could use another receiver for second-year quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and there wouldn’t be a more explosive one for them to add than Michael Thomas. Miami spent their first-round pick on Jaylen Waddle, a former teammate of Tagovailoa’s at Alabama where the two had no problem connecting during a game.

Miami has the draft capital to trade for Thomas and he’d be an immediate contributor in their offense. Furthermore, he’s a tremendous weapon for a quarterback who desperately needs to have a good season in 2021.

Thomas could really flourish in South Beach and it’d be a lot of fun to see him in their offense. The Dolphins would likely be more than willing to part ways with two draft picks to land Thomas and this would be a good team for him because he’d definitely get involved in the offensive game plan.

If the Saints were going to trade Thomas to anyone, the Dolphins feel like they’d be the best fit because of the draft capital they have and their need at the position.

We’ll see if the Saints end up trading Michael Thomas prior to the 2021 season but if they do, these four teams make sense for his services.
