Potential Spots for NOLA Saints WR Michael Thomas – No. 2: Colts

The Colts would be an awesome fit for Michael Thomas and he could do a lot of damage in their offense. Indianapolis isn’t necessarily desperate for a receiver but they don’t have a dominant one on their roster, as T.Y. Hilton isn’t a top-10 option anymore and Michael Pittman is still trying to stake his claim in the league.

Thomas could easily be the WR1 in the Colts’ offense and he’d be another weapon to give Carson Wentz, who is in his first year with his new team. If Thomas were to become available via trade, it’s hard to imagine the Colts not being interested. He’d be the No. 1 option in the Colts’ offense and they’d have him under contract for the foreseeable future.

Thomas would probably be okay landing with the Colts because they’re similar to the Saints. They have a good offensive line, a solid run game, and have a new quarterback for the 2021 season. Thomas easily makes the Colts’ offense better but they’ll have to decide if the need for him is big enough to trade a few picks.
