Saints fans hope that Tom Brady leaves the NFC South.

Do I even really need to go into detail here? We all saw what happened last season, right?

While the Saints beat up on Tom Brady and his Buccaneer minions during the course of the regular season (and boy did they ever), he got his revenge in the playoffs. As Brady always seems to do, he maneuvered his way through a Wild Card playoff schedule and got back to the Super Bowl. While his defense is to thank for Tampa winning the big game, Brady still got the credit.

Saints fans are already sick of seeing Brady in their division despite beating up on him twice last year. He came into the division and after one year, matched what the Saints have been able to do in their entire franchise history. It’s annoying and hopefully, he does not play until he’s 45 because Saints fans want no part of Brady being in this division.

Unfortunately, with the Buccaneers bringing everyone back this season, they’re going to get a lot of hype, and deservedly so. Saints fans might not care for Brady and the Bucs, but they can give credit where credit is due. He’s the one to beat in the NFC South and until he’s gone, the Saints have an uphill battle in winning the division again.

Hopefully, these three players leave the NFC South sooner rather than later but Pitts is a rookie, McCaffrey is tied to Carolina through 2025, and Brady is probably going to play until he’s 80.

New Orleans Saints fans can still dream though.
