Toughest RBs on New Orleans Saints Schedule – No. 2: Aaron Jones

The good news is that the Saints get Aaron Jones and the Green Bay Packers out of the way in Week 1. The bad news is that Jones is a nightmare to face.

Jones, a fifth-round pick out of Texas-El Paso, has been incredible since taking over the starting running back job in Green Bay. He finished his fourth season with 1,104 rushing yards and nine touchdowns along with 474 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns.

His best game last season came in Week 2 against the Lions where he had 168 yards rushing and 68 yards receiving along with three total touchdowns. This shows that he starts off red hot and Saints fans aren’t loving that but they’re well aware of Jones’ potential.

New Orleans has only faced Jones twice but he’s torched them both times. In the first meeting against them, he rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown, and in the second meeting, he had 69 yards rushing and a touchdown.

Jones will be looking to put up similar performances in the Packers’ season opener against the Saints.
