Toughest QBs on New Orleans Saints’ 2021 Schedule – No. 1: Aaron Rodgers

It’s possible that the No. 1 entry on this list isn’t even on the Saints’ schedule by the time the 2021 season kicks off, as Aaron Rodgers wants out of Green Bay. While Saints fans would still love to have him in New Orleans, that ship might have sailed sadly.

But, if Rodgers isn’t with the Packers and goes to — oh I don’t know, maybe Denver? — then he’s not on the Saints’ schedule. If he remains in Green Bay, then I guess at least the Saints get him out of the way quickly, as the Packers are slated to come to New Orleans in Week 1.

Rodgers had no problem against the stout Saints defense last season, throwing for 283 yards and three touchdowns en route to a 37-30 victory in the Superdome. If he is still a Packer for the 2021 season, this Week 1 performance could be interesting.

Rodgers is coming off an MVP title a season ago after throwing for 4,299 yards, 48 touchdowns, and five interceptions, which are absolutely insane numbers when considering the Packers were wanting to move on from him. Now they really can’t unless they want to look stupid.

While the Saints have several tough quarterbacks on their schedule, Rodgers is the toughest. He’ll give them everything he has in Week 1.

The New Orleans Saints’ 2021 schedule might not be all that daunting, but these five quarterbacks will face the Saints a total of seven times in the regular season. That will certainly make things more difficult when navigating through the schedule.
