Toughest QBs on New Orleans Saints’ 2021 Schedule – No. 3: Josh Allen

The top three quarterbacks were tough to rank over the other because all three are going to pose difficult challenges for the Saints this year. I put Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen here because he’s still young and has to prove he can consistently put up the numbers he did a year ago.

Allen threw for 4,544 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions while dashing for another 421 yards and eight touchdowns in year three. His efforts led the Bills to their first division title since the turn of the century and got them to their first AFC Championship Game since the Jim Kelly days.

It was quite the season for Buffalo and they’re hoping to build on it in year four of the Josh Allen experiment. What makes Allen so good is that he’s able to take off with the football and get a huge gain with his legs. When the Bills gave him more weapons last season, he showed he is a very good passer as well, making Allen a tough player to game plan against.

The Saints haven’t faced Allen yet in his career and their first meeting with him will come on Thanksgiving night in the Superdome when the Bills hope to disrupt Turkey Day in the Big Easy.
