Toughest QBs on New Orleans Saints’ 2021 Schedule – No. 5: Dak Prescott

Dak Prescott has a tough battle ahead of him after missing most of last season due to injury. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback had an impressive 2019 campaign, throwing for 4,902 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions while adding 277 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns to his stat sheet.

Prescott’s ability to make plays both through the air and with his legs makes him a dangerous quarterback to face. He’s also been in a situation recently where he’s had to carry the team because of how bad the Cowboys defense has been.

Fortunately, the Saints have limited Prescott both times they’ve faced him. In 2019, the Saints kept him out of the end zone and held the Cowboys quarterback to 223 passing yards while also picking him off once.

While New Orleans has faired well against Prescott, he has a scary arsenal at his disposal of Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb, not to mention Ezekiel Elliott is still the running back in Big D. Slowing those guys down won’t be easy but the Saints have been able to limit Prescott before, so here’s to hoping they can again when the Cowboys come to the Superdome on Dec. 2.
