The New Orleans Saints have a comfortable schedule this year, which is surprising considering the quarterbacks they’ll have to face. Two of the toughest quarterbacks appearing on this list are in the Saints’ division, which means New Orleans will face those guys a total of four times.

Yet somehow, the schedule still is one the Saints could capitalize on and make the playoffs, even without Drew Brees as their quarterback. Who are the toughest signal-callers on the Saints’ 2021 schedule? Let’s take a look.

Toughest QBs on New Orleans Saints’ 2021 Schedule – No. 6: Matt Ryan

Say what you will about the Atlanta Falcons but Matt Ryan isn’t a slouch at the quarterback position at all. He’s singlehandedly kept that organization afloat during some rough seasons and continued to do so last year, throwing for over 4,500 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.

Ryan has been a consistent cog in the Falcons’ machine and no matter what the situation is, he churns out big numbers. He wasn’t great against the Saints last year, throwing for 505 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions throughout his two meetings with New Orleans.

Be that as it may, Ryan always has a chance to put up solid numbers against the Saints. Fans know not to count him or the Falcons out, even if we do like to poke fun at them for choking in the biggest situations.
