Saints QB Jameis Winston can torch the Seattle Seahawks in 2021.

The Legion of Boom days are over in Seattle and have been for quite some time now. This was proven a season ago, especially early on, when the Seahawks defense couldn’t stop anyone. They allowed over 400 yards passing in two of their first three games last year and the Patriots were three yards shy from making that a clean three-game streak.

While the defense tightened up a bit as the season progressed, it wasn’t enough to prevent the Seahawks from allowing the second-most passing yards in the league in 2020. This is a stat that should have Winston and Saints fans excited because there’s a huge opportunity for Famous Jameis to have a big game in Seattle.

The Seahawks lost cornerback Shaquill Griffin in free agency and that’s going to be a big loss in their secondary, which was a unit that struggled even with Griffin in the picture. I will say that while the Seahawks passing defense was an eyesore a season ago, the rest of their defense wasn’t bad at all (in fact, they finished in the top half of the league in total defense).

Seattle is always a tough team to face and with this game being on the road, Winston is going to have to bring it if the Saints want to get a W at CenturyLink Field. The stars are aligning for that to happen.
