The New Orleans Saints did a decent job addressing needs in the 2021 NFL Draft but there are still positions they should fixate on before training camp starts up. Fortunately, there are plenty of free agents available for the team to sign.

While the Saints could desperately use a wide receiver, there weren’t many worth signing in free agency at this point. The best option, funny enough, is former Saint Kenny Stills, who is only 29 years old. The Saints parted ways with him for a reason so bringing him back doesn’t seem like a realistic move.

Tight end is another position I’d have liked to see the Saints do more at this offseason, but unfortunately, they did very little (signing Nick Vannett). The available tight ends didn’t inspire much confidence so I didn’t include one on this list, as Tyler Eifert and Jesse James aren’t going to get more than a handful of receptions if they were to join this offense.

Well, without further ado, let’s get to the list!

Free Agents for New Orleans Saints – No. 5: Morgan Moses

This one might seem a bit out of left field considering the Saints’ stout offensive line but this would be a move the team would make if they didn’t feel an extension with Ryan Ramczyk was possible. The Saints need to extend their former first-round pick but if a deal can’t get done, maybe Morgan Moses is brought in as insurance for the future.

Moses, who spent the entirety of his career with Washington, was released several days ago after the team previously had tried to find a trade partner. Per the tweet below, Moses was one of the best right tackles in football and now he’s available for anyone to sign.

The Saints wouldn’t need Moses right away but he could potentially be signed to a multi-year deal should the team not feel comfortable about their chances at keeping Ramczyk in a Saints uniform.
