Saints’ Most Difficult Matchups on 2021 Schedule: No. 2 – Buffalo Bills

The Bills went from a bit of a question mark in the AFC to one of the best teams in the entire league in the span of a year. They won the AFC East for the first time this century and made it all the way to the AFC Championship Game, only to lose to the Chiefs.

The Bills will be motivated to prove that their 2020 campaign wasn’t a fluke. Fortunately, the Saints get the Bills at home in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, which should make them the favorites in this one, and hopefully, fans are allowed to attend because the Saints can use all of the help they can get against a tough team like the Bills.

Josh Allen proved he was on track to become one of the best young quarterbacks in the league and he’s become a household name in the NFL. He’s skilled both at throwing the ball and taking off and making plays with his legs as well so that’s something the Saints defense is going to have to heavily game plan for. Oh, and Stefon Diggs is on the Bills team now as well, and clearly, Saints fans know what he is capable of.

Buffalo is going to bring all they have against the Saints and this could end up being one of the more fiery matchups in the league this year. Should be fun.
